Full-Catering vs. Self-Catering
Self-Catering
Our self-catering prices are the bulk rates we offer every day at the restaurant, by the pound, slab, and by the piece. Full meals start at around $7.00 a person and go up to about $15.00 a person. Beverages are an additional charge.
In a self-catering we fully cook and prepare the entire menu you have chosen. We sell it to you at a bulk rate, by the pound, piece, or slab. Everything, where appropriate, is sauced and cut. All hot items are placed in stainless hotel pans and put in our hot holding Cambros for transport. The salads are put in chilled ice bowls, keeping the salads cold and packaged for easy transport. We supply all serving utensils required to dish up the various dishes. We also supply BBQ sauce pots and ladles and all the extra sauce you could possibly need. We supply the chafer dishes and Sternos to serve the hot items. This allows you to set up the same buffet line we do in our full catering. All you need to supply are plates, napkins, wet wipes, and silverware. At our full-caterings we use disposables, they work well with BBQ, and if you would like we will supply them for an additional $1.00 per person. In a self-catering you are in charge of all logistics picking up equipment and food and returning it to us. It does not need to come back clean, it just needs to come back. With the equipment we loan you can easily pick up your order 2 hours or more in advance and not have to worry about temperatures of the various foods. The various serving utensils, Cambros, Sternos, bowls, sauce pots, hotel pans, and other equipment is loaned at no charge so long as it is returned.
This is definitely the least expensive way to feed a lot of people.
Full-Catering
Our full-catering prices are basically our menu meal prices plus a 15% offsite catering fee. Meals start at around $12.00 and go up to about $19.00 a person, depending on the items you choose. Beverages are extra.
In a full catering you just pick your menu, tell us how many guests you expect to serve, the location where you will be holding your event, and the date and time you would like to eat. We will set up a buffet line, or two, depending on your needs. We can control the quality and temperatures for a couple of hours. When your guests finish, we will package up all leftovers in bulk for you, or offer Styrofoam containers for your guests to serve themselves food to-go.
